Snowball Viburnum

I planted a row of Hornbeams and transplanted the Viburnum to to screen the house recently built next door. The Viburnum (just behind the far birdbath) will eventually fill the 'hole' in the landscape.

Kenyan Bahá'í House of Worship Design Unveiled

The design for the Bahá'í House of Worship in Matunda Soy, Kenya, was recently unveiled.   Baha'i Houses of Worship are designed to architecturally reflect the local culture and are gathering places for prayer and meditation . All Houses of Worship are required to have nine entrances. There are no rituals or sermons (the Baha'i Faith has no clergy); all music is a capella; and every House of Worship is open to people of all faiths.

The Temple capacity will be about 250 people.

Architect Neda Samimi speaks with a reporter about the Temple design.

The joyful celebration  brought together more than 1,000 people of all ages.

The celebration was infused with song and dance.
