Nuthatch

Nuthatches are friendly and fun-loving little birds.  

I hear them in the neighborhood trees:  Hank! Hank! Hank! Hank!

They come within a few feet of me when I'm near the feeder, suet or birdbath.  They make sure I know they're visiting.  It's very endearing.

The cruise ship in better days.

It now rests on its starboard side off the small island of Giglio on Italy's west coast.  Apparently the ship's captain steered the vessel too close to shore and struck bottom.

Here's the plan to right the ship.  Incredible engineering!

A float-on system was engineered to transport the vessel to Genoa for salvage.

This is a remarkable Jack and Jill (random partner/music). It's spontaneous. They obviously know the music to a certain extent, but she has no idea what he's going to lead (he doesn't either LOL). They went all out and lost connection a couple of times, which is why they probably didn't win, but that just shows how hard they were working.

Alamo Update

Except for the concrete, screws and a few nails, I reused wood pieces salvaged from replaced fencing and a 2x8 roof joist from this pile.

The window on the right is now the new door.

I put some work into it today.  I think I've finished the outside.
