S.F. Garbagemen 1962
Attilio shows how the trash from the cans of several homes was collected and carried over the shoulder to the truck. Kudos to these strong and noisy men!

Just Having a Good Time
One of my favorite lines of dialogue from "The Andy Griffith Show" television series of the early 1960's comes from the episode "The Loaded Goat".
A local construction crew is blasting for an underpass near Mayberry. A farmer brings his goat uptown to experience his weekly shopping trip, and partly because of the blasting making the goat nervous. The goat frees itself from a bench on Main Street and wanders into a storeroom. The goat eats a half of a case of dynamite. (IMBD)
"Eatin' dynamite. Now aint that t'way it always is? First time he comes uptown he figures he's got to do everything."
