X-37B
The X-37B is an interesting space vehicle.
The United States Air Force's X-37B space plane will launch on its fourth mission next month. The unmanned X-37B Space Plane, which looks like a miniature version of NASA's now-retired space shuttle orbiter, is scheduled to blast off atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Florida's Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on May 20.
The Air Force owns two X-37B space planes, both of which were built by Boeing's Phantom Works division. The solar-powered spacecraft are about 29 feet long by 9.5 feet tall (8.8 by 2.9 meters), with a wingspan of 15 feet (4.6 m) and a payload bay the size of a pickup-truck bed. The X-37B launches vertically atop a rocket and lands horizontally on a runway.

Grey Squirrels
I started feeding squirrels raw peanuts in my backyard this year. There have been as many as five at one time, but usually only two. They're handsome and humorous little critters.

What to say during fearful natural events
"On the appearance of fearful natural events call ye to mind the might and majesty of your Lord, He Who heareth and seeth all, and say "Dominion is God's, the Lord of the seen and the unseen, the Lord of creation". --Baha'u'llah

Big Sur River
BIG SUR RIVER
My son Jeffrey Cobb and I rode my motorcycle down to Big Sur from Santa Cruz planning to camp one night in 1987. Pfeiffer was full and Fernwood too funky, so we just spent the day in the park and rode home that night.
I sketched this as he swam.
